Not posting just to create drama. Sorry, my bad. I’m sure they have good reason to be packin’ while selling perfectly legal electronics in a sketchy neighborhood. Why associate with this type behavior is all I’m concerned about.

oh please! The kid is a police officers son, and he called 911 to report the incident and stayed to describe what happened. What the fuck else was he supposed to have done?

coaches should be relieved to have to “contend” with this behavior.
self defense.. I agree what else should he have done??

They weren't selling.....they were buying PS games but the seller pulled a gun to rob them instead. The LSU players had to decide if they wanted to die or not. They chose not.

So guy has gun pulled on him and has time to pull his gun and fire? There are specifics of this story I don't follow.

Doesn't matter. The police know the specifics and have ruled it as a justifiable homicide and self defense.

LSUpete: Sounds like a rush to judgement. The article said that the victim lived 500 feet from the scene. So, he's sitting in the back seat of their truck, says give me your goodies, then what? Was he going to run home with his gun, ps game, their goodies and hope they didn't see where he went. And if so, perhaps they wouldn't rat him out. Or was he going to take the truck also, and drive it down the street and hope they didn't see it in front of his house. I think, the victim was the one being ripped off, and brought a gun, just in case; but wasn't fast enough to use it; because he had a gun trained on him. Anyway, it seems that the police are very efficient or very gullible.

Yeah, sorry that doesn't do it for me. The optics are what they are. Same goes for the Bama player caught with drugs and a gun a few years back

Facts are facts....not optics.

What "rush to judgement"? The police investigated and ruled the case a justifiable homicide. Speculating about the thief's motive or plan of action is just that....speculation.
