What’s the largest balance you guys have had in any one book? Is putting/leaving large amounts offshore safe as long as it’s one of the A+ books?

My strong guess is that those with large balances in a book, are somewhat well off anyway .. I've never had more than a few dollars over 1k in a book. Thankfully not WSEX, which I used to think was solid back in the old days..For me no more than 2k, would I be comfortable having; even at Intertops, which is a book for small players like me.

I’m not sure I’d want much over 1000 in a book. Plus to me it defeats the purpose of betting if you don’t cash out and touch the money and buy something. I have a friend who bets large, runs up his balance to several thousand at any given time but refuses to cash out. Crazy I say.

The largest balance safe is largest amount you are willing to lose. Any dollar put in an offshore sportsbook is risking not getting it back. Just remember that

I think up to $5000 is generally safe but you should never leave more than you can stand to lose.........

you should be able to get one free every month

I use bitcoin multiple times per week. The fees still suck but I want my winnings at least for 24 hours until I donk it back to them.

This is the best answer. Pinny and bookmaker are both very solid and I'd worry less with money here, but if you "need" the money, I'd damn sure not have it in an offshore sportsbook.

Bookmaker caused me grief with not one but 2 credit cards and it wasn't THAT long ago. The book itself may be solid, but at least a dishonest employee or more. Taking money out and having to redeposit is a real pain..Oh I know, BITCOIN!

Rule #1. Don't ever, ever use cards. Aside from the bonus rollover scam, the verify the front and back of your old cards is the second most handy trick of books.

No matter how great a book is or highly rated, even the top books will try these two scams. (Pinnacle is above this kind of bullshittery, though.)
