Entry: $30 per entry. 3 for $75.
The contest begins on Friday, December 29th and can end as late as Sunday, March 10th.
Each week will have two periods: Monday through Thursday, Friday through Sunday
You must pick one team from the slate of AP Top 25 games to win each period. If that team wins, you advance to the next period. If they lose, that entry is eliminated. You are allowed to pick the non-ranked team. Once you pick a team, you can no longer pick them for the entire contest. For the Friday-Sunday period, you can only pick from the Top 15.
PICK DEADLINE
Picks can be submitted via e-mail, text or Reddit message. If you do not submit picks by the deadline, your entry will be eliminated.
Tuesday at Noon ET and Friday at 11:59ET are the deadlines for each period’s picks. Mondays and Fridays will be treated like Thursday Night Football, where if you are using that game, it’s due by Noon.
After the deadline has passed, a spreadsheet will be sent with everyone’s picks listed. Please verify your picks for any errors. If there is an error, I will correct, however once the first game of the period tips off, the spreadsheet becomes final, regardless of error. If this results in you having a duplicate pick, that entry will be eliminated from the contest.
BUYBACKS
The buyback schedule is as follows:
After Period 1: $35 After Period 2: $45 After Period 3: $60 After Period 4: $75
Starting with Period 5, all eliminations are final.
Splits/chops will be honored when the field becomes small, but any such split must be unanimously agreed upon by all the remaining entrants. Postseason tournaments WILL NOT BE USED for this contest. Plan accordingly, because some tournaments will begin in the last week of this contest.
DOUBLE PICKS
If any picks remain starting in Period 18, two picks will be required. If there are no two-pick winners, all 1-pick winners will advance.
