I spent 6 days in Delaware and came away with a small sports book profit, but bet over 5k..... They don't even ask for your casino card, so no drink comps or points of any type.. . Is this the same in Vegas, not even a drink comp? It's run in Delaware by William Hill there.
Now to be honest there were some horse betting comps given (using casino card in machine) but I can't give you a figure.

Speaking just for Downtown Vegas......If the ticket writer does not know you you will have to ask for drink comps..Once they recognize you are a frequent player they will hand you a comp or two without having to ask

I bet at borgata and give them my mlife rewards card every time and I don’t think it does jack shit. I bet 2k on one game and had to beg for a free drink ticket

the only place that used to give sports comps in vegas was the stations casinos.
I think comps used to be .1 or.2%. plus as you accumulated points, you gained
tiers. higher tiers got you 1/2 priced buffets and special line access.

That's funny, I was asked for my casino card for breakfast and got $2.00 off ( 11.50 to 9.50)... The sausage was hard and the eggs semi cold... I think it was only that I HAD a card that got me the 2 bucks off a terrible breakfast.

Books that have those comps typically have a model similar to this:

Horses For every $20 bet you get $1 comp

Sports For every $200 bet you get $1 comp

Station casinos sportsbets go on a players card just like slot play $1000 bet/$1 comp
Rampart casino $400/$1
Boyd casinos $600/$1
Westgate is something like $300/$1 (was $200/$1)
Caesars was $500/$1 but I am getting closer to $1000/$1
William hill, Arizona Charlie's, South Point has comps but I do not know what they are.
You can get drink tickets for sportsbets.

Sharky, What casino gives $200 bet/$1 comp in vegas? I could use a place like that.
I think Westgate does in Vegas. Peppermill is the best at about 1.20 for $200 in Reno though. Atlantis in Reno also had the 1.00 for every 200. Not many comp. William Hill is probably the worst. Caesars says they comp, but I've yet to see anything accumulate from sports betting.

For what it's worth, the guy that bet the 5k and won then was told they didn't want his action the next day, told me that he can get the biggest bet down at MGM in Vegas...... Says he's barred at many places, so take that with a grain of salt...

Yes Westgate, quite liberal with drink tickets also depending on who you deal with there, scout out the right teller .... If you give a $1 or $2 to the right teller they will come most times in my opinion

Last time I was in Vegas I was betting $200-$500 game and got drink tickets. Had to ask for them and I was tipping like a drunken idiot.

I have not been to Vegas in 10 years. I used to go all the time. So regarding comps - i never had a problem getting them back then
so is it much tougher now? You still tip 3-5 bucks to the server so it’s not free correct?

I've never had a problem getting free drinks at these places,Boyd properties,Stations properties,Westgate,South Point,Golden Nugget or Four Queens,or both, but received drink tickets there also.I don't even bet big money on sports anymore, unless i really see something i like a lot,and that is not to often. But i don't really have a problem getting drink tickets.......it also don't hurt to tip the writers when you win,and be sure to go back to the same writer that you got your bet with, and toss him a few bucks,....i don't know about the strip books,as i don't usually go on the (Strip )at all anymore.
