We've seen what happens to teams that get manhandled at the LOS this bowl season. Minn, Wisc, Aub just to name a few. I watched OU play Texas and saw two very poor defensive teams. OU won that game, but I was not impressed.
Perhaps I'm missing something and OU's offense is something I've never seen before. They have discovered a formula for throwing the ball perfectly with 6'4 WR's that run sub 3.80, So no D front 7 could ever disrupt their passing game.
I can tell you what Bama will do to disrupt OU today. They will shut OU's running game down with a front 4 that OU has never seen before. They will contain Murray in the pocket and force him to throw the ball into extremely tight spots to wR'S that are blanketed by DB's that OU has never faced. Then Bama will unleash their LB's selectively to disrupt and attack Murray throughout the day. Most importantly Bama will not be making arm tackles, whiffing with poor technique, or failing their gap responsibilities.
Bama does not beat itself, OU is going to have to take it today. Unless they have something I've never seen in 10k hours of watching film an prepping for games. Five 6'4 WR's that run sub 3.8 is something I've never seen before. Do they have that?
I won't even mention Bama's offense advantage vs OU, it's obvious to everyone.
