These two games have been a disaster. Notre Dame scores 3 points and looks like a junior varsity squad. Oklahoma is going to lose by 50. The only reason why it's not 80 is because Alabama will eventually put in their third string. It's clear Ohio st and UGA should have been in. Put an oddsmaker or two on this embarrassment of a College Football Playoff Committee and get the actual 4 best teams in. No agendas, no history, no fan base, no ratings.

This is sad.

Agree completely!!! Every year they screw up and let at least 1 non-deserving team in the playoffs.

I agree. This is not much of a playoff at all. ESPN tried their best to give the illusion that these games would be close.

An 8 team playoff would be better. That would mean 2 or 3 SEC teams would get in every year, making for a better overall playoff. As long as it's a 4 team playoff, you will see undefeated pretenders get in.

Been watching the Don Best screen and Georgia is getting hit hard right now. Up to -12.5 and climbing.

This is very true. Probably the best post of the day! They have the analytics and know who the best teams are and best at predicting outcomes. No one and no computer or certainly person has the tools and analytics that they have. Case in point is the two lines today. Majority of the public bettors on both Notre Dame and Oklahoma as double digit underdogs and both getting slaughtered.

Why keep score then? Just do the eye test if wins don't matter. What if a team starts out 0-6then wins their last 6 games by 50. Do you put them in because they may CURRENTLY be one of the four best teams?

Exactly Sun Dodger, ESPN has spent the last week (or longer) doing nothing but talking about the possibility that these games could be close. I cannot get into the Playoffs in College Football. They seem manufactured and forced, rather than actually good games. I honestly think the old BCS days were better. Let the regular season play out and get the best two teams in there and play one game. I just think the Playoffs are lame in CFB and not what everyone expected. Of course that is my opinion and that may not be the majority but that's how I feel.

Oklahoma deserves to be there. Without that horrendous start I think they would’ve won

Lol, so getting down 28-0 didn't have anything to do with the game? Come on. Oklahoma hung around and did better than some people expected but to say they would've won without the bad start is a little much. The first play of the game Alabama had like a 50 yard gain.

Having School Admins/AD's, former coaches for power conference schools on committee is akin to having the fox guarding the henhouse. Get true independent voices with no ties to schools if you want unbiased selections. OU gets their shit pushed every year, but continues to get the benefit of the doubt.
