I am currently still standing in my survivor pool. This is a fairly large pool so I wanted some input from you rx Guru's. Would you guys feel comfortable riding Houston this week? I have them selected as of right now, but I think I'm psyching myself out thinking about it too much. Thoughts? My other choices that I would consider are Buffalo or the Giants. But both of those teams scare me for obvious reasons. Thanks in advance!

Find the team with the largest ML and hedge the other side accordingly. That way you guarantee yourself a profit no matter what happens

Sizzle,

I plan on doing that as well. However, I really would like to win this thing outright, as the pot is pretty damn big. I don't even know how much I should hedge without having to take out a second mortgage on my house. This damn pool has given me a damn headache!

RMoney: I am in the same situation as you. I also am deciding between Houston, NYG, Philly and Buffalo. Houston, Giants and Philly all have 7 point spreads. I like Philly but they are on the road. Like Giants at home but how long will Cowboy starters play? Jax makes me nervous and Houston really needs this game to get a home playoff game. Jax defense has played well the last couple weeks. I, like you, have Houston locked in right now. I am going to stay with it. A 10-5 team vs a 5-10 team at home with a lot on the line. If they do lose, we went down picking a team that needed to and should have won. I never like switching teams. That is when you regret your decision. Switch to the Giants and then they lose and Houston wins. Then you would be bummed. Let's do this together, buddy! Go Texans!!!

Sorry about this, RMoney. From what I am reading this morning it looks like the Cowboys are not going to play their starters very long.
could be Eli's last game for the Giants. Will dig some more but may consider taking Giants at home if this is the case with the Cowboys.

Hi Spartans,

Glad I am NOT alone! LOL. It wa a long night of back and forth. I've finally decided to roll with the Houston Texans as well!!! Hedging a little bit with Jacksonville ML. I asked myself if I would feel more comfortable with my future in the hands of Houston or the Giants and I decided Houston is a much more sound team. Let's goooo~~
