Aren’t the Vikes favoured because Bears just may pull their starters in the 2H IF Rams are winning big over SF?? If this game was not dependent on the Rams outcome and if Bears needed to win then line would be different obviously. There is chance the Bears just mail it in during the 2H??

That is a maybe. A chance to knock out division rivals if they played a close game in first half may be hard to avoid. Do they really wann play them again if they can get rid of them

Chicago radio said Nagy scoreboard watching....plus they would rather play MN next week not Philly so I expect them to sit everyone 2nd 1/2 or until Rams up by 14 JMHO.....MN by 10

exactly. long shot at the bye first off and secondly you wouldnt want to show your hand to a team that you could likely see the following week. minnesota has to pull out all the stops but chicago shouldnt show any crazy blitzes or offensive formations since they could show their hand the following week. a lot of their offensive success is with trubisky and his legs....dont see any reason to risk it. minnesota is 5-2 at home. good luck dexter, hope they cover the spread but lose SU

This same scenario played out a few years back when the Bears had to play GB in week 17. The Bears kind played a vanilla game on offense and lost in week 17. The way playoff seeding worked out, the Bears faced the packers again only to get blown out of the water.

Edit: It was the 2010 Bears. Lost 3-10 against GB in week 17, then lost to them in NFC champ game.

I’m a bears season ticket holder and avid Chicago sports talk radio listener, I can confirm that bears plan on playing to win, but will be keeping an eye on the Rams game to determine how long the starters play.
