Changes to Maryland gambling laws require a state constitutional amendment with ratification by voters in a general election. ... Barring a special session – which would be unusual, particularly in an election year – the earliest Maryland voters might consider such an amendment is November 2020.

Why don't you go to West Virginia? Charlestown has a sportsbook up and running. I guess it depends on what part of VA you live in, but its just up 270 an hour if you are in MD

More than 100 miles further, maybe 150 more miles.
I used to drive in those hills years ago to bet the ponies when living in N. Va.
Bye the way do they have a hotel, might take a summer trip.

Yea, Charlestown has a hotel there. I've never stayed there but its right outside of the casino.

The sportsbook isn't that big but it gets the job done and always nice to bet on some ponys as well.

DC will be getting sports betting soon as well
