Remember, this is Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.

Would I be shocked to see Clemson win the game? No.

Would I be shocked to see Clemson keep it close but lose? No.

Would I be shocked to see Alabama win by 28? No.

I believe Saban will eat up a Freshman QB and Clemson will crumble once the Tide start rolling. Enjoy the game!

Clemson Wins SU....Their past finals matchups in recent years shows they don't fear Alabama & play right up to their ability. I see Bama's secondary giving up a few shots through the air but a more defensive battle overall. Clemson & Under are my picks.

What do past Championships have to do with this one? Different location, players and different assistant coaches.

I'll give you another reason why Bama wins. That Clemson QB has gotten away with a BAD habit of forcing his passes into coverage. Against ACC competition, that has been successful because his receivers are simply better athletes.....but that bravado is going to get him in trouble against Bama.

And a wet newly sodded field

I heard Tim Tebow say the field was in terrible condition. I didn't hear him
say what the problem is. Anyone know?

Big stage for a true freshman quarterback who needs to avoid turnovers for Clemson to win. He's played really well this
season but this game is a different animal.

Bama needs to run the ball effectively and that won't be easy against a defense that gave up just 92 yards per game. If
Bama can establish the run, they will control the game and win by 10 in my opinion. If they can't run and make third downs,
then its going to be tough game to cover.

Isn't Clemson a better version of Georgia? The team that gives Bama problems. Maybe the difference is Georgia knows them better and there is an intense rivalry. I think the championship intensity and the time they surely spent on playing and researching Bama the past few years makes up for that.
Lawrence getting big runs and the variety of using that IMO will be the difference. He isn't a great running QB but I think will give Bama enough problems and things to think about to win or keep it close

the offenses clemson has played this year really arent balanced, most arent even very good. clemson has a great defense but they really havnt faced a team that can move the chains on the ground and in the air. i think clemson d will get tired and be a huge factor in the game.

lawrence hasnt had to make throws thus far. he has had the lead or been comfortable in the pocket. the only game that required a comeback he wasnt the guy. lawrence showed in that game his running mistakes and didnt get out of bounds. if he isnt smart running he will face the same problem in this game. murrays legs were a huge factor for oklahoma but lawrence cant do what murray does with his legs. he may be able to escape but he wont be converting multiple 3rd and 10+ by scrambling.

what other balanced offense did clemson defense face?

For those talking up the defenses, this game isn't going to be a 24-17, 21-14 type game. Both defenses were probably better the previous two match ups and they put up bigger numbers. Now, as I say that, I could be every bit wrong. But I expect it to take more than 28 points to win this game.

I'm going against the majority opinion of a high scoring game.

I played the Under 58.
