NFL defensive efficiency, per Football Outsiders.

They are all gone.

Next are:
7.Chargers
8.Dallas
9.New Orleans

But Saints and Chargers have top offense... In the 2018 NFL, offense wins and covers. Yes defense matters, too.

Now we have a lot of top offenses playing this week, well rested and focused.

One constant narrative is "the Rams have played so poorly, they cannot stop the run, they are not gonna play well, blah, blah, blah... "

The Rams were coasting last 4-5 games, as were the Saints, KC, NE, and yes the Chargers. Look at em, ATS.

Do you think Suh and the boys were fighting every down once they got to 11-12 wins? No they coasted and now they will come out and unleash hell. DO not try to tell me these players giva damn about the byes and home field until the last game or so, as NE did. Games 12-15 they just have in there minds that they have it made. (I was ALL OVER the Chargers yesterday on this notion and that Balty played in fortunate circumstances last 4-5 games and that their college offense would NOT cut it when Chargers are focused.)

So will KC, New Orleans, and NE, as did the Chargers. AND they have top offenses.

One game in particular that strikes me is the Rams, IF Gurley is 100% we are looking at a blowout. Goff is superior, Dak will be in deep trouble in this spot.

Just my point of view.

Dallas with a pass rush.....a rushing offense and Rams looking suspect last half of season with the spread....who knows. They can't stop the run. I wouldn't trust Dak or Dallas on the road. But trust me...this is no lock blowout. Yes, I know you didn't say it was a lock At this point I am heavily leaning Eagles. Pats always smack Chargers, but I don't care for them this year. Chargers have a pass rush so if they can get to Brady I think they win KC offense and pass rush should be enough vs Colts. No....Mahomes isn't similar to Jackson or rookies. In fact he is more similar to Big Ben or Brady who won it in their second year. However, they did do it with good defenses Just my first impressions.
