Tua was not 100%. More than just a tad off. Legs were not there.
These last few months there is no way he was doing his sprints at practice, and all the things in the usual routine. His arm was not as strong as a result of his legs not being there, and his running was at about 80% of his usual speed and strength.
Sure he seemed to look ok but you could tell he did not have the zip on his throws that we have seen in the past for throws that required it. His reactions, his feet, were a bit slow when he moved in the pocket since he was slower than before and he did not get the ball to receivers when scrambling, moving in the pocket, that he has in the past.
Announcer kept making excuses for him almost to the point of being ridiculous. "The CB did something very unusual on that pick-6, he couldn't have seen that safety, the safety did something unusual, blah blah".
