including the NFL's only undefeated team (EVER). his work with the chargers was great too. the year
they went to the super bowl, he made defensive adjustments that took a team being totally outplayed
in the first half to being defensive stalwarts in the second half and ultimately victory. TWICE!!!
however, his work as a head coach was not as effective. he was DC thrice and every time the defense showed
quick and remarkable improvement. he gets my vote.

As for Landry....many probably didn't know he was also DC for the Giants as well when they went to 3 World Championships. The guy behind the modern 4-3 defensive scheme and the flex defense.
