Bama looks to have no depth on the defensive front seven, where they have made a living for a decade. They are in trouble there, but still have a potent offense. They will be the favorite.

A&M is probably another recruiting year away.

UGa isn’t winning it with Chaney at OC.

Florida might be a dark horse.

Pittman said his last stop is Athens. He will get whatever he wants from Kirby. I'm hearing a raise and new job title. He is worth every penny imo.

He said the same thing at Arkansas. Said he wanted to retire here because it so close to where he grew up (Oklahoma).

1 game where Bama was punched in the mouth and never recovered won't carry over to next year in the SEC. And if it does, Saban needs to step down! Bama wins the SEC next year and makes the playoffs and possibly plays for another National Championship.

Bama lost the game because they were dominated at the line of scrimmage offensively and defensively.
A complete ass kicking.

SEC top ranked favorites STUNK in the bowls ATS:

  • Bama pounded SU by Clemson
  • Bama no cover vs Sooners
  • Georgia pounded SU by Texas
  • Mississippi St beaten wire to wire SU by Iowa

They were very disappointing despite all the hype. Yes, SEC is a top notch conference, maybe the best, but the constant pro SEC narrative gets to be over the top, obnoxious, sometimes.

To answer the question, Georgia is the team to beat in the SEC next year, not Bama this time, though of course they will be in the fray.

ATS:

Az St L
Cal L
Wash St L
Oregon L
Stanford L
Utah L
Washington W

I had 'lil Pac 12 at 1-6.

Some of these lines changed right before kickoff or were close enough to dispute.

I had Mich St + 1 a few hours before kickoff, it then flipped to them being the other way around and Mich St was -1. Also I had OSU - 6.5 but it changed late morning to -4 or -4.5 I lost that one.

Big 12 went 6-1
MAC 2-4
CUSA 4-2
AA 1-6
ACC 8-3
Not official just looking at my sheets quickly.
