NFL vs college football- competitive games

Like most of you I am a MUCH bigger fan of college football then pro and have been for decades.
Question being why are there SO MANY more blowouts in college then pro?
Hell even the biggest point spread of the season 17 the Bills went to Minnesota and blew out the Vikings as the huge dog.
The playoffs? Notre Dame and Oklahoma never had a prayer at winning. Championship game, Clemson took control early 2nd quarter and that was all she wrote.
Eagles vs Bears was a hard fought nail biting game, even the Ravens when behind made a decent effort at a comeback and made things somewhat interesting.
Don't wanna hear about a "talent discrepancy" Bama and Clemson had to be pretty close in that regard.
Is there a rules difference that causes these seemingly always lopsided games in college vs pro?
If not what the hell is causing this?

When Saben went for it 4 and 1 on his own 35, he knew it was a lost cause, then the fake FG. His defense was just burnt out and Clemson's D was humming. Clearly, Bama's road to that game was much more challenging then Clemson's. Pitt and ND vs Georgia OU. By the 3rd Q of the OU game Bama was spent on defense. I did not put much stock in Bama being so vulnerable on Defense. It still worked out with the tease, but in hindsight, the over 7 pt over tease was the play.

Since we are not able to see the team practice all week, Saben is the only one who knows what he has in the tank for any game. I enjoyed the game it's nice to see a team have a plan and it work.

There is a much bigger disparity in talent. The best of the best are drafted int the NFL and are more equally dispersed. Where as college you recruit and kids want to go to whatever the current dominant teams tend to be. Ability to play with more talent, win and put up even bigger numbers. And why not get showcased more in big televised games? Ranked teams get more attention. Then you delve even further to see the smaller teams which hardly get and big recruits and they are pushed all over the field on the offense and defensive line where it is hardest to find elite talentand size except QB

Keep in mind Super Bowls until relatively recently have been blowouts. In big games these teams give 100% full maximum effort or in other meaningless bowl games don't care at all. Leads to blowouts even when there isn't a total and complete difference in talent. You will often find more blowout in NFL playoff games

Pros are more physically developed and mature. Plus they have no restrictions on practicing. Pros can add plays every week and have a much deeper playbook, to begin with. Pros are also not bogged down with teaching fundamentals in practice. If you are a Safety in the pros, no one is going to waste time teaching you how to back peddle or play the hash.

How many kids on these college teams are good enough to be drafted and make a pro team? In the Pros, they are ALL pros! Plus, psychologically and mentally they're still kids in college.

College teams have better coaches. The NFL the coaches get a 2 score lead and want to sit on the ball, rather than trying to score again.

Look at the SD/Balty game this past weekend. No reason for SD to change their play calls in the 4Q but they did.
