Eagles have their work cut out for them however they are playing lights out. Consider this:
In the past 4 weeks the Eagles faced arguably the three best DLinemen in the NFL. Aaron Donald, J.J. Watt & Khalil Mack. These guys are game changers yet the Eagles made them virtually disappear. That's playing at a nice level so that has to be a consideration.
Does the hangover from a 48-7 shellacking scare me .... of course but the end of the year Saints vs the current Eagles has the appearance of two teams going in opposite directions.
A friend once told me when a team is on a streak ride with it don't try to time out the game it ends so that's my plan ..... Go Eagles!! Go Nick!!

Question:

Of the beginning of the season 4 starting DBs for the Eagles:

  • WHO is playing tomorrow?
  • Who plays in the place of the injured ones?

I thought they only have one, and the other 3 are backups, one is a backup to the backup. But has one or two others come back?

They were a wreck for a long stretch there, but they seem to be playing better but the Bears did not really throw at them till it was late, and Trubisky who is not top notch (yet) went down the field on them, got 303 yards, had higher rating than Foles.

Brees will go after them immediately, Bears ran ran ran till late.

No starters have come back both are out for the season
Backups are just stepping up

By the way Trubisky didn't have a higher QBR than Foles it wasn't even close
Trubisky - 49.5 .... Foles - 76.8

Let's not compare Mitch Trubisky to Drew Brees.

Eagles are about to be in for a Ravishing Rick Rude kinda rude awakening.

That streak rule is a pretty good rule to follow in the NBA, NHL, and MLB. The NFL is such a small number of games that the streak rule has a much less affect on such a compressed season with such a small number of games. As for the other sports that streak rule is a solid game play rule to follow until of course you see the team n the winning streak starting to struggle getting the job done. That is usually a sigh that the streak will be ending soon and it is time to jump off that particular team. It is a great rule though in sports where they play a ton of games over a season. Just another reason to avoid making NFL bets weekly. You really have to be sharp if you want to make money from the NFL. It's got to be by far the toughest sport to bet out of the BIG 3.

The Saints have already played the Eagles. They won 48-7. In that game, we were without our best offensive lineman (Terron Armstead). We were also without our number 2 WR Ted Ginn. Not having Ginn hurt the Saints offense as we could not stretch the field. He returned against Pittsburgh and the offense scores 30+. Anyone who thinks these are 2 teams going in opposite directions is right. The Saints are going to sodomize Magic Dick Foles and the Eagles. This is the best team Sean Payton has ever had. And we are rested. We are also 100% healthy. The public is favoring Philly, a road dog in the playoffs. This will be a blood bath.

Awesome that Sean Payton was a huge Flyers fan in the 70's. I also had season tix and went to the Cup parades.

That being said, he's now the enemy so let's wipe that smirk off his face. Go Birds. +8.5 (-110)

Good luck to you as well. Back in 92’ or 93’, we played Philly in the playoffs. It was the 2nd game of the day right after the infamous Frank Reich Bills comeback over Houston. Bobby Hebert was our QB. And what most Non-Saints fans don’t know is going into that game, we had still never won a playoff game in franchise history. The Saints were looking good. At halftime, I stopped drinking and agreed to be the designated driver and drive everyone to the French Quarter to celebrate our first playoff win. We were up 10 at the end of the third quarter. By the midway point in the fourth, I went ahead and started drinking again. It would be another 7 years before we finally got that first playoff win
