So TSA agents, who average $40k a year and even Air Traffic Controllers ($130k a year) are all over the networks telling their sob stories after missing ONE paycheck. I think it typical of a government worker and, let's face it a TSA agent is about the equivalent of a 7-11 night shifter, that they are so helpless that even missing one check throws their life into disarray.
Welcome to what the private sector workers face every day and every year. Construction slows down, layoffs, slowdowns, plant closings, etc. They have to plan...they have to save and somehow they endure. Government staff miss one check and they can't make their mortgage, pay the car payment and, of course, the children will suffer.
This is the track we are on where more and more are dependent on the government...exactly what the government wants. People are just too dumb to understand how they are herded. So incapable that they can't even pick up their own trash when they go to National Parks or monuments.
I've heard about all of the bad stuff that will happen when the government shuts down...haven't seen it. What I have seen is the pathetic nature of people who have so little shame that they will go on TV and cry about a situation that they very well could have anticipated.
