Dak is not very accurate, though he gets big plays when there is good coverage and he is forced to move in the pocket and a receiver gets loose and he hits a long one.
The data I used had Goff rated #6 efficiency rating in the NFL as a passer, Dak #25 going into the game.
Cowboys should be back next year, they should find a solid pocket passer, Foles, a few others are out there (do not draft a rookie the team is ready for bigger things, now, do not wait to develop a rookie). And yes get rid of Garrett.

Cowboys would be insane to consider any replacement for Prescott. In 45 games played with Elliott in Cowboys are 29-16 and Dak TD/INT is 60/15 to go with 20 rushing TDs
While I suppose he could take a downward turn, it is far more reasonable to presume he can maintain that level and (gasp!) maybe even improve a bit.
Pokes need a new center and also another OL which likely happens w pick 57 and a FA signing. They also need a couple more DL to help improve their pass rush. Linebackers and secondary are the strongest part of their D at the moment
Dak is not the answer.

- Not a pocket passer.
- Cannot hit mid range or long passes as well as 2/3 of the NFL QBs.
All FOUR QBs this week = pocket passers. Brady-Brees-Goff do not even move in the pocket much at all, though Mahomes does.
Football Outsiders ranks Dak # 25 as a passer, there are other measures. He is not running as well lately, lost 1/2 step .
I do not know the contract he has but if Boys are stuck with him it is a pity, they have a good young talented foundation for at least a couple years.

Ressonably confident that three years from today, Mahomes, Goff, Wentz, Wilson and Prescott will all be Top 10 w a short list of not yet drafted to go with an older veteran tier of guys like Ryan, Stafford, Luck and Newton.

Frederick will be ready for the offseason so that's a huuuuuge plus. Linehan Turned dak into a pocket passer and moore in his ear is not the answer either. First year he had Romo in his ear and linehan did nothing but use RPO-daks legs/strengths. Big difference. Linehan changed tune. Baffling. I've seen it hundreds of times. Repeat it all.
