Has been going on for a bit now. If you find the topic interesting and have a twitter account, we invite you to follow @alanfeuer the legal analyst for the NY Times who is live tweeting each day of the trial.

With evidence presented last week, Chapo's chance of acquittal went from nil to lol so a pending bit of possible drama is whether his lawyers will have him testify. Such testimony could be quite wowza material with regard to many aspects of his business including but not limited to how he dealt with Mexican and US government agents

I would be interested if there was another source rather than anything that comes from that rag NY Times.

An interesting stance. Perhaps I can assuage your insecurity by noting that the coverage I pointed to is simply a running summary of testimony from the trial with no editorial bent. Feuer's collective tweets serve almost as a mini-book and tease what will likely be a full length book from him or someone else once Chapo's full story has been concluded (with his life sentence in prison)

What I find most interesting is how even with his (seeming) extravagant lifestyle which was running at a pace of $250,000+ monthly he was essentially a prisoner of his ownself.

Very akin to the story of Pablo Escobar which - if you are so inclined - can be reviewed by tuning into the Netflix joint NARCOS currently in fourth season

Are you a white guy?

Actually a mixture of white, light tan and dark brown depending on what clothes I wear here in my sunny Florida life what with being part Native-American via my paternal grandmother.

How about you? What colors are your various skin parts?

Will his conviction create a supply shortage?

of course not

Americans' demand for illicit drugs has always and will always be met

The only potential question is who will meet the demand

Love Narcos. Once finished them I tried the spin offs and they seem B rated. Read what that pos mexican president ask for. Chickens could come to roost with the us government as well on this.

Yah today's testimony claimed bribery pymts accepted by Nieto but not by Calderon....Was scrolling back thru feuer's tweet feed and it seems for the moment judge had preemptively ruled that evidence claiming to dirtyness from U.S agencies would not be allowed
