I cruise alot but have never been on a disney cruise and have no desire to go on one.

However, i hear they are AWESOME. Just cost $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

A 3 or 4 day disney cruise is more $$ than a 7 or 8 day RC Oasis class cruise

I've been on 3 cruises 2 Royal Carib and 1 Disney, Disney was the best easily with kids (still good without) but twice the price. Shows were almost broadway quality and they really cater to kids. Soda/Pop is free which most cruises it isn't. Food was good at times borderline great. We did Disney for 5 days after the cruise I think the trip set me back $12,000-$13,000. Ridiculous but kids loved it. I can't believe how expensive Disney is getting but booked a trip there for May last week, guess I can't fix stupid and I keep going.

Maybe sometime buddy we can get the families together and Cruise together!

I've heard the Disney ships aren't comparable to Royal's.

Is this true blue?

Hache meaning better or worse? Disney ships were so clean you could eat off the floor. They put in a new line of ships 2-3 years ago after I went and have read/heard they were amazing. Mine was as good as the Royal ships I've been on if that is what you were asking and the rooms were bigger on the Disney cruise.

I would recommend to anyone visiting Orlando theme parks to strongly consider Universal Studios over Disney.

Disney is fitting for kids around 8 and under.

Universal stays up to date more so and is much better overall.

Universal is awesome. My kids are 2 and 5 months so will be a few years before they are ready for it.

No gambling on a Disney cruise but usually the casino's are shit anyway. Food was similar Disney one night we upgraded to an adult steak meal on the top of the ship, that meal was excellent. Comparing to Royal it was as fancy but different as it caters to kids much more. But as I said the entertainment (shows) was much better on Disney even for adults IMO. With kids you get to see characters more often and less crowded than at the actual park which was cool. My daughter rode the elevator with Cinderella one night to our room, that was worth the extra money right there.

I would still go without kids on a Disney cruise but then it's nowhere near worth the extra money. With kids I would say it is, but holy cow they rape you

One more thing, Disney has it's own private island where you stop and that was kind of cool. Like it's Disney owned, you eat on the beach, ocean has climbing stuff, etc.

Universal has a 3 days for $160 deal where you can visit Universal, Volcano Bay, and Islands Adventure by June 30.

Thinking of doing that as long as my younger son can do the rides

Went to Disney world last year. Want to wait until they open up some the newer stuff before returning to the parks. Plus my daughter is too young to enjoy it.

The cruise will be much easier with naps since the room is right there

Would def go for the upgraded room with a balcony so mom and dad can relax with a drink while the kids nap

This is pretty common, actually...Royal C has their own called Coco Cay, so does Holland, Princess, and Norwegian...Coco Cay was pretty cool to enjoy a drink on the beach and snorkel to the plane and other sunken diving spots and reefs they had made...

Royal also has Labadee (Haiti) which is pretty fun. Nice beaches with a bar 10 feet away.

They just opened or will soon be opening "pefect day". Looks like a lot of fun.

Problem for JC is that bringing babies on a cruise is TOUGH. 1 baby is hard. I couldnt imagine 2
