It's all bullshit. Used to have a 820 score. Was dropped to 795 because I did not use credit for over a year. WTF

I doubt that would make your score decrease 19 points, unless it was 30 days late and then I suspect it would drop more than 19 points

One of the most important variables in your credit score is % of available credit used, but I doubt $ 4 changes that calculation. Something else happened, multiple new credit inquiries?

I have 11 cards and perfect payment and never missed anything. It did the same things 3 months ago when I had a balance of $7.85. Once that balance was cleared, it shot back up 17-19 points

beware if you are using sites such as Credit Karma. The score they provide is NOT your actual FICO score. Of course it gives you a good idea about your credit just not accurate on the #

Credit is overated.

Besides buying a house, you don't need it.

I'm not into car payments. Have 1 cc that I pay off every month

Anotherday, I don't know what your true Fecal score is, but I rate your social credit as extremely high. Maybe 9 or 9.5.

its such bullshit but youve got to play the game.. people that entire poaycheck goes to pay off card and then they are back charging everything right down to a cup of cofee have better credit than
someone like me that chooses to only credit crds for neccesary things like hotels car rental etc..

meanwhile the one with better credit misses one check and they are fucked where as me i provide zero risk to them but because i dont use my credit card for toilet paper my scvore not as good

part of a big factor of credit is credit history, if your never or hardly ever using it you dont build up a history of making payments to them.

the problem is your not building up a history of borrowing money and paying it back. your a wild card to them, because you hardly ever use it. Are you going to trust loaning someone 5k that shows up out of the blue and has never stiffed any or would you prefer to loan 5k to someone whose bored money numerous times and also never stiffed anyone.

I would simply suggest putting all your gas purchases on your cc and build up some months of making payments in full on time to build a track record with them. My wife has a discover card that matches cash back for the first yr, so we put a lot on her card and then just pay it off. getting money back on items we were purchasing anyways while building history and raising her score. Months of on time large payments, they have increased her credit limit a bunch without asking, which helps her credit utilization score.

You could even put something small like your Netflix bill on automatic bill pay. That will help that card when it's used and paid off every month.

What difference does it make? You're spinning your wheels for no reason. There is nothing you could get with a 785 credit score that you won't get with a 766. The majority of banks only require a 720 for the best possible rate. After that, it doesn't matter if you're 720 or over 800.
