Furious Calls Going Back and Forth From The Hill, State Department, Pentagon and White House After Trump Cancels Pelosi’s Flight

On Thursday afternoon, President Trump informed Speaker Pelosi her “public relations” trip to Afghanistan, Egypt, and Brussels has been postponed so that she can stay in DC and negotiate with him.

The President canceled Pelosi’s flight just one hour before she was scheduled to depart — Pelosi and other lawmakers were on the bus en route to the airport.

Trump told her to fly commercial on her own dime.

According to Fox News reporter, Chad Pergram, furious phone calls are flying back and forth from The Hill to the State to the Pentagon and White House.

CHAD PERGRAM: Members are sitting on the USAF bus on CapHill they wait to see if they are departing on overseas trip Trump canceled. Fox is told there are furious calls going back and forth now between the Hill, State, Pentagon and White House.

Members are now exiting the bus and heading back to the Capitol!

He should post their schedules, this way we can see if it was more important for them to be away, instead of helping and negotiating ending the shutdown.

Been hearing that they have been planning for months to NOT give Trump his wall and were pushing for a shutdown no matter what was offered.

President Donald Trump “childish” for canceling House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) upcoming
international travel in response to her proposal to postpone the State of the Union address
until the government is reopened.

But... she was also going to Egypt and Brussels on the trip, Im thinking Afghanistan was just an excuse to go on a vacation.

Remember how the Obamas would schedule 1 meeting somewhere, then spend 3-4 days with their WHOLE FAMILY AND FRIEND on the taxpayer times, touring and taking pictures everywhere....

How many times have they taken their family and friends on any of these overseas trips since its coming out of their pockets since they left office?
