Doing this in January, wow.
New sod, less than a week old, can be a disaster, depending upon where they got it, how deep the roots are, did it, then, set properly.
But I would think their heating pipe system should help.

Agree ... I now know the field is heated ...but the footing ? We will see right off the bat ...
