So here's a twist of a question for you.

Which state will have the higher handle for the Super Bowl?

Nevada or New Jersey?

Personally I think there will be a huge flood of money in New Jersey that will come in from New York. I wouldn't doubt that will be more seven figure bets out of New Jersey than Nevada.

I don't have exact numbers but I believe Nevada has 205 sportsbook locations and New Jersey has 8 or 9. I might be wrong because of recent openings.

This is going to be a real eye opener for states that are on the fence about passing sports wagering in their state. Law makers are going to be in for a huge surprise and I wouldn't doubt by this time next year, we double and maybe more the current states that have approved sports wagering.

I am going to take New Jersey in an upset.

If the numbers were not going to be spun to the point that NJ out did Vegas or at least came close, I would take this bet. Sans the 6/7 figure bets we take in more in prop bets that we do the game. A week head start aside I would be willing to bet that we take in more in props than NJ does the game. :103631605

I don't know about NY.....Delaware is at $5,000 or more for taxes, but in PA, the new tax law that passed last year is that any winnings have to be 300-1 of your original wager before you're taxed. I've seen several people win between $12,000 & $15,000 at the track & none of them had to pay taxes. Pennsylvania use to be at $600 or more, you paid taxes but that all changed with the new tax law.

Nevada because they put out a huge list of prop bets earlier and their handle on the props alone will be over $300 million.
