The Dogs Superbowl Play....

Hey boyzzz, I cannot believe this is it for football until the fall... takes so long to get here and then goes by so fast!!

I have been watching the line since it opened... I think there is no doubt the narrative about the Pats mystique in the SB is moving this number more so than the on field talent. I made this game PK, and if this was being played in the regular season on a neutral field, I believe the Rams would be the favorite. That being said, I think there is a ton of value in taking the Rams plus the points... I really believe the Rams will win this game outright, but I bought the number to Rams +3.5 (-145) for my largest wager of the season (not monopoly money fellows). To me it seems that the books are really inviting Pats money... If they wanted to even things out with this influx of money on the favorite, they could have already moved this to -3... they didn't ...It has been one sided action for the last week and a half... to me that is very telling...Like I said, I believe the Rams win, but... I like the points just to have them in my pocket if ever needed, especially that little hook...

So ....

Los Angeles Rams +3.5 (-145) is my play for Sunday in the Superbowl...
*no worries to buy this to +3 either...if you can't or don't want to get to +3.5 and see that juice.. It doesn't bother me at all...as I stated, I believe Rams win the game...

Looks exactly like the same SB as Denver -2.5 vs Seattle where Seattle won 43-8......line opened at Seattle -1 or -1.5 & it moved to Denver -2.5 & stayed there & wouldn't move to -3, & the casinos were getting all Denver money......it was one of the best SB money makers for sports books in history......get that money Dog!

first off i love the play dog. as soon as pats won and guys here were beating their chest about how good the patsies were- i immediately piped in said rams win and am sticking to it.

computer group! bang on! that is exactly what i thought and to add more...b4 the superbowl that year and this...the nfc were ml favs to win the sb...deja vu!

Good luck 3 point dog, I am riding out my 13/1 futures with the Rams (large play) and not laying much off on NE as I feel LAR are the better all round team

Computer Group I said exact same thing my friend re the Seattle super bowlin another thread, complete agreement with this sentiment although I don’tthink we’ll be lucky enough to see the 43-8 score line! But I could see a 2 score Rams win

I’ve been following the weight of money via a lot of outletsand they are all reporting very lop sided action favouring NE, I feel like thebookies are very happy to take a position siding with the Rams here as theyknow there’s a lot of factors in their favour.

I think we see the Rams overall team speed bother NE on thefast deck in benign conditions….and I think Goff will win the MVP and is goodvalue around 18/10

Nah - I totally Disagree first off the Seattle / Denver SB had no line movement on it ....yes everyone piled on the Donks yes but the line opened at -1.5 and closed at -1.5 at Pinnacle.

#2 the Seattle defense that year was one of the best defenses of all time....the Rams defense is not dominate like Seattle was...they should be based on how they are built but they weak in the Linebacker position and will get exposed in the middle of the field .

Sorry to Sully the thread DOG ....I think it will be a close game a FG could decide it.

PS... I just wanted to point out that even though I believe the Rams will win this game outright, I didn't feel that +120 was enough value to give up the points... I understand why some do, I just won't here...... +140 or more, maybe a different story..

Had Seattle and Atlanta not dropped turds in the SB, Brady would be 3-5. NE has never won the big one by more than 8 points.

67-56 (Final NFL Record 2018 season)

Well that didn't go as planned...a big bummer... kind of hard to have "that" as the last game of the season...

I am done until football in the fall... As it's the only game I bet really... Good luck to you all on your Baskets, bases and pucks...!!
It was a fun season, with ups and downs... but mostly ups...!!

I had a winning year, most importantly, as that's what counts...

See you all in a few months!! Enjoy your summer... Remember, family first!!!

Hey 3pt, Thanks for your work this season. I would have won a bit more if I would have bet the same on your non contest picks. Later in the season I saw you won those games at same rate so increased my bet. It's hard to win during post season, in any sport, so while I (we) lost the last couple of weeks it was at smaller amounts. So. All in all a good NFL season and thanks again. Will look for your posts in Sept. as I can't pick a game in NFL to save my life. Have a good summer.
