I'd have to go with Derek Jeter. He's also just an over rated baseball player in general. Your Mom has never heard of him if he played his entire career in Milwaukee. Yes I hate the Yankees. No I do not hate Jeter. He seems like a good guy, stayed clean publicly at least, was a solid/very good baseball player and leader...he just wasn't who most say he is.

Give him his due credit - he had an awesome stable of girlfriends in his life.
I did not appreciate when he became pals with obama who unfortunately was President for 8 years.

he made a career of dropping that little flare to right center. not much range or a great arm. below average power and couldn't run. hustled now and then but generally just a slightly above average shortstop/third baseman. somewhat similar to cal ripken jr who basked with that longevity thing and worthless consecutive game streak.
