mostly informed opinion, I love the Patriots

While often times looking weak and inconsistent during the regular season, they have turned it on and they are clearly the best team in the post season.

They rolled the Chargers, the game was not competitive, and many people thought the Chargers were the best or at least the most balanced team in the league. The Chargers "were too strong on both sides of the ball", well the Patriots dominated both sides of the ball.

Statistically, they rolled the Chiefs in KC. They dominated yardage, first downs, time of possession and even converted on like 14 of 19 third downs, many of them 10+ yards. The only reason the Chiefs were competitive is because they won the turnover battle 2-0, directly leading to a 14 point swing (potentially more, since I'm not giving the Patriots any points on their 2nd TO). Teams that win the TO battle usually win, but that wasn't enough for the Chiefs. If the Rams win the TO battle, their chances of winning increase dramatically. We don't know who's going to win that key stat, if we did it would make our job a lot easier. Don't give me no bullshit about the refs either. The Patriots had more penalties, 6-4, more penalty yards, about 60 to 25, and the Chiefs were awarded more automatic first downs, 4-1. They also stopped a drive with an offensive PI against the Patriots, while they missed an obvious and blatant pick on the Chiefs leading to their final score (the play Belichick threw his tablet). So blaming the Chiefs loss on the refs is pure poppycock.

In the playoffs, the Patriots have been an unstoppable machine on offense, clicking on every cylinder. On defense, Belichick is game planning and the players are executing almost to perfection. They're playing great on both sides of the ball. I think they're looking better in these playoffs then they have in any other post season in recent years.

Obviously, I can be wrong, I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong again, but I love the Patriots today (especially if they don't lose the turnover battle)

GL today Willie.. rooting for the Rams unless I get a good in game line with Pats... grew up as a Rams fan as a kid.. when they moved it was one of my horrible sports moments.. started rooting for the Packers and Favre as some know on this forum...

I wouldn't be surprised either that you guys win ..Coach is the best ever imo…. everyone on that team knows what they're supposed to do.. You just don't see that as consistently as they do it..

Biased yes. Me too.

Nothing like being biased winners. Let's hope we're biased winners tonight.

Good luck, bro.

Football was very good to me this year, although a tad bit weird.

In college, I had a sensational regular season hitting nearly 60%, but a losing bowl season

In the NFL, I was below 500 in the regular season, but absolutely smoked the post season.

Butt now I'm going to have figure out NCAAB, because football ain't around to bail me out

Congratulations!
Pats dominated, total yardage, time of possession, running yards... take away the last 50 meaningless yards by the Rams.
Pats worried me, though, went first 3 drives to the Rams 35 and only came away with 3 points.

(....but, but, there was line movement the first day 2 weeks ago, so that means the Rams are the play!):):)

Willy you had to be counting your money when you saw Russ on the Rams.
Nice job

My biggest bet in a long long time, and there was no close second

I just loved the match-up, I love it when Belichick opposes some young QB in a big game. Especially since their defense was so damn good in the post season.

I thought Brady would score more, but they scored enough
