ESPN has fired one of its most popular and versatile hosts for allegedly leaking confidential company information to the news media. The New York Post, citing "sources," was the first to report that ESPN looked into the allegations and determined that Adnan Virk didn't fully cooperate with the internal investigation. The Post reported, "Virk was escorted off the Bristol campus (on Friday). The specific nature of the information Virk chose to share is unknown at this time." ESPN spokesperson Josh Krulewitz confirmed to USA TODAY Sports on Sunday that Virk "no longer works at ESPN."Virk, 40, joined ESPN in 2010 after working in various TV jobs in his native Canada.
He had been the lead studio host on ESPN's college football coverage, as well as a regular host on "Baseball Tonight" and a fill-in host on ESPN radio. As of Sunday afternoon, Virk's Twitter handle (@adnanESPN) and bio still included his association with ESPN<strike></strike>

Sounds racist

Figure ESPN would just keep him around since he is a fake refugee from the Middle East.

The two biggest falls from relevance to the opposite in the history of cable television...ESPN and CNN Headline News.

In other (and more exciting) news, I pooped out a solid turd this morning. A major feat considering all the junk food I ate yesterday watching SB53.

Guys, Quit bragging that you don't watch ESPN like you are some kind of tough guy. If you do not watch ESPN then you don't watch much sports.

Have a feeling they mean all the fake debate shows. PTI, Around the horn, whatever Mike Greenburg is doing now. They basically have about 15-20 people and they mix and match them at various time for a year long show and try to make up a catchy title. When its just the same bs. Half the stuff they say they cant possibly beleive

I still watch ESPN for background noise or if flipping channels, i'll watch until the commercials.

I enjoy PTI, around the horn, Highly Questionalbe, High noon, Jalen and Jacoby. Those shows are entertaining to me. But again, i wont go out of my way to watch any of those shows

I've eliminated all ESPN programming outside of the actual live games.. Not interested in hearing ghetto opinions on most of the shows they have now..product of diversity I guess..
