plain and simple, pats covered, public won, books lost. period. regaurdless of the big late "wiseguy" $ on the rams. according to las vegas
vegas journal review, most books needed the rams.

Vegas wanted a low scoring, boring game. They needed Rams, but don't kid yourself. They won big. They feared another high scoring shootout like last year. Trust me.

according to my info, that is false info about the total, there were five $250,000 bets with pats/rams UNDER 58, 1.5 million was on the under
at mgm in early action. Laughlin NV , early heavy action was on the under 58, by a 3-1 ratio. 1.2 million was wagered early on the UNDER
57.5 at ARIA this past friday, and to top that off, a Billings Montana bettor won 1.2 million on a $2500 5 teamer.
the total dropped from the beginning, the sharps and majority hit big on the under, ME i LOST on the total, shame on me, but did cash
on pats ml and side.

If you think Vegas lost tonight just because the pats covered you know nothing about the industry.

Care to explain?

80% was on Pats
75%+ was on the under

How can they possibly make money when they are paying so much money out? How does such a thing work?

First, where did you even get those numbers? I saw 59% cash on the Pats and 61% on the over. Not even close to 75+ or 80.

Second, books clean up on props. They especially bend the public over on props where they can hide the Vig ( First player to score, Super Bowl MVP, etc.).

while some place will show you somewhat accurate %, a majority of bets are placed underground, not with offshores or in vegas. anyone that sits and tells you what % of money is on a side is bullshitting for whatever reasons or looking for attention. anyone that takes enough action doesnt have time to "show" general people they dont know where their money is going.

vegas is fine, probably made money. a lot of the props that didnt hit were heavy juice like brady over 294.5 was -140. local books got beat up if they didnt offer all the extras.

I live here. The paper said most books made a small profit...heavier money was on the Pats and the over. Did great on the props as most bet on the overs. All of the books will be taking bets again today so no need to worry.

This is truth, the actual opening line the public sees, is NOT the real line. It actually gets hammered one side or the
other by heavy hitter sharps/wiseguys.
