I had the anthem under 110 sec and my play was graded a loser. The way the anthem bet is suppose to work is it starts on the word "O" and ends on the word "Brave" the first time it's sung. Multiple braves are not suppose to count.
I learned those rules years ago as it's in fine print when you place the bet. This year I used a different site and I'm not sure if that was spelled out although I think I saw words to that effect.
Since the anthem with one brave came in at 109sec I'm assuming they are counting the extra braves which takes the song to 122.
Does anyone know if there are sites that include the extra words? If that is allowed then shouldn't the musical intro count too meaning the song would always exceed 110sec.
Needless to say I'll be calling tomorrow to see if I can get any justice.
Ironically I found something on a USA Today website were it says some books were paying both the over and under even though they said it was sung under. The over bettors were getting the benefit of doubt meanwhile I have the under (a winner) and their making me a loser.
