OK, who are the NFL teams to beat in 2019?

According to the ESPN experts, the leaders are the Saints and the Chiefs, followed by the Rams and a sprinkle or two on the Patriots, Bears, Texans & Hawks.

I think they're picking the low hanging fruit, greatness is hard to sustain year after year and those teams may take a step back. Who are next year's breakout teams?

Will the Packers or Vikings make it back? maybe
How about SF? maybe Chop was one year early?
Will the Ravens step it up again?
Will the Steelers tail off?
How about the Browns? I think they might be playoff bound
Colts? maybe
Eagles back in play?

I'm buying good expectations on the Bears, Texans, Colts, Browns, Eagles, Hawks

Wait and see on the Ravens, Packers, Vikings, Panthers

I think the Chiefs, Saints, Chargers and Cowboys take a step back, doesn't mean they don't make the playoffs, just won't be as good as they were this year (although the Cowboys don't have much room to decline and make the playoffs)

I think the Steelers are the hot mess everyone was saying the Patriots are

I think the Patriots will win 11 games, plus or minus 1, and make the playoffs.

Who emerges? who crashes?

Colts are on the rise.

Luck fully healthy with no rust. Probably will get a couple free agents. Have 2 picks in the first 36 in a highly defensive draft which is what they need. Need a good corner/safety and defensive tackle.

Don't waste money on Leveon Bell. Completely pointless. Can get cheaper and same productivity with a 3rd rounder

Offensive line should be even stronger. Need a 2nd receiver.

KC will be there as well as they will improve defense in off season.

Colts/ Eagles Super Bowl

Too early for SB contention, but I see no reason why Cleveland can't contend for their Division. They have a better roster than the Steelers now (and a better coach), I'll take Mayfield over the Balt QB and I think their defense is as good as anyone in the AFC. They will be the Bears of next season.

Better chance of your old ass dying before the 2019 season than the colts sucking next year. They are 2 defensive players away from having a good defense and we all know andrew luck is flat out great.

The Patriots are the Patriots. Under B&B they always dominate the AFC East.

But the rest of the Division isn't gonna suck so much this year. The Jets and Buffalo are improving and will beat teams outside the Division. And for all the bad press Miami gets, they have a new coach, Tom Flores. You do remember how the Patriot defense played spectacularly against the Chiefs and the Rams don't you? Well Tom Flores was the Defensive coordinator. Expect Miami to improve also.
