Nice pick ups but Harper and machado extremely doubtful.
Still like nats to win division with or without Harper.

Angles got their guy too in Pujols and that turned into a 10year, $254m nightmare.

Harper 26 years old
Pujols was like 40

He was 32 when he joined the Angels...Phils were in the mix for him too. All you need to know, and can look forward to Phillie's fans, is that every one of his incentives is personal as opposed to being team goals. Good for him and his agent. I guess fans in Philly hopes he moves away from being an overrated, underperforming jerk and can hit over .250 this year.

Considering typical prime is ages 26-32 that’s a huge difference.
im not a Phillies fan and I hate Harper.
it May be a mistake.
just don’t see the deals as comparable.

If he plays like he has in his career then he'll be worth it. If he plays like he did last year then he won't be. Should have a lot of prime left.

Although people will decide whether he was worth it or not based on like 100-200 postseason at-bats, as well as the results of other players which he has no control over. Good stuff.

If a different division they could be a 100 win team but Mets and Braves are tough and Nats still have some pieces. Probably 93-96 wins still.
