With Adams out and Gilbert "unlikely" to play for UConn

I'm not sure how the Huskies can compete, Memphis -7.5 looks like a gift

Somebody will have to step up that's yet to step up, I just don't see a path to victory.

Carlton has been playing great down low, but somebody has to get him the ball. Vital can't beat a defense focused on him, and everybody else has been a colossal bust. They play scared

I might actually bet against the men's basketball team for what would probably be the first time in my life.

If Gilbert were to play, Hurley said he's unlikely and given this kid's history I doubt he'll play, then all bets are off

The last time I thought UConn had no chance and started a thread about it, the football team almost beat Michigan at home and easily covered, although that UConn football team was as bad as it gets the rest of the year

Gilbert is warming up, but no official announcement yet

Hurley let's players participate in non-contact warm-ups all the time, then doesn't play them (he warmed up last game too)

fucking classic, Polley who sucks all year shoots lights out from three in the second half, all Memphis needed was one offensive rebound on several possessions down the stretch, and with 11 seconds left UConn fouled not once BUT TWICE and the refs refused to call it

Memphis by 7, these are the games that really piss me off, like the refs NOT calling two intentional foul attempts on the final possession

After Creighton Saturday night, I'm spitting bullets right now

BTW, FWIW, Memphis has to be the most undeciplined team I've watched all year. It's their horrible shot selection and mistakes with the ball that kept UConn in the game to begin with

Memphis guy fouled at least 2 times and no call with under 11 seconds to go and up 7 with the line 7.5. Real bad beat for Memphis backers.
