Indiana...It's Been Tough My Man.
We made arrangements today.
The visitation is tomorrow night.
Then The Funeral is Wednesday @ 2pm.
My wife is going in the morning
to do her Grandma's Makeup, Hair, and Nails.
She said that may give her some closure.
My wife got my mom ready for Visitation & she
looked just like herself, beautiful!
My wife is in the medical field and currently
manages a Family Practice with 53 employees.
She's was a CNA, then LPN, now Manages The Office.
Through the process, she's had to do or choose to do 3 autopsys.
She's tough, but her grandmother going down, and my wife
administering the Meds, including The Liquid Morphine & Liquid Ativan,
She's starting to blame herself. She feels like she killed her.
I keep telling her, it was her time Babe, she was 91, but it's not doing any good.
She hasn't eaten anything at all since her Grandmother took her last breath on Saturday @ 345pm.
And my wife is small....5' 2"...123, a Vegan, a Workout Freak!
But she has got to eat. Right now she just refuses. Praying she comes around.

And so it goes LOL...great job Doc but more importantly I pray for your wife to get past the pain. My wife is an RN and anyone married to a nurse knows what they go through and how difficult that profession can be.

My wife is an RN as well. That is definitley not an easy field and the long hours can be extremly taxing. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your wife during these trying times. Praying helps me to get thru the rough patches when life comes at me on lifes terms.
