Maybe we can start a daily thread discussing live betting. You can make some nice scores with live betting if you are watching the game and the score is misleading.

If i can offer some advice...

Bet against what just happened. Let's say you have on a game, for example you like over 144. Check out the LIVE BETTING and if the game you liked has a slow start like 6-2 after 5 mins bet the over and you will get a much better line than 144.

I did this yesterday with the UVA/UNC game. I leaned under but thought 139 was a little low and didn't play. When the score was 18-12 early the line was 149.5 and I hit that under. Doesn't always work but if you capped a game correctly you can get value. Basketball is the best game to do it with because of the swings.

I have a lean on LSU +8 today, but wish the line was +10 or more. I will keep an eye out for live betting and maybe UK will have a 6-0 start and I can get +10.

I did it in the past in NBA when starters get their break...like you say, didn't always work and REALLY need money mgmt!

I do it. Timmy is right, live betting all about money management. I use it a lot for value. Especially with leans.

Money mgmt and control is HUGE!! It's easy to lose control and have too much invested on a game.

Maybe we can use this thread and discuss the offerings. There is definitely an edge for those watching the games who don't lose control and have money mgmt and a decent eye.

Was as watching that Duke ML and didn’t pull the trigger but took them at +8. Highest I saw, it was at +2900 but that wasn’t even when they were down by 23. Would have could have should have.

If I am on the fence on a certain game I will wait to see how starters look. When I cap mlb I often look to bet against a starter who shows poor form last 5 starts. By waiting an inning or 2 I get a little more info on the starters. By waiting value is often lost & you have to pay more but I am ok with that knowing I like what I see.

Any of you guys use Bookmaker? I try to bet live but when I open it all I get is a circle spinning in the middle of my screen. It never goes to the live betting screen. Customer service says I need to clear my cookies etc. Tried that and no help. Any insight on this weird phenomenon?

Varkey, you in a burb or from the actual city? I'm down in southwest Illinois. Probably toasty here compared to the cook county area!

Yeah, sounds like you guys have had a chilly one up there! We did get a 13" snow storm a few weeks back, but not the cold you guys have. Go Bearz!
