Gl with wife...my mom almost killed herself after her brother's death...just stayed alone in her room, didn't really eat or drink anything, thank God for my stepdads intuition of taking her into hospital before work n not after, as she was dehydrated and vital organs were shutting down due to dehydration. 3 days in ICU
but close call.
Hope all goes well for you and yours

One unsolicited thought (with kind intent)...

You cannot influence her loss. She’ll sort through it all with a pace and process that serves her well.What you can control is what you offer her right now.

The pain of loss will abate in days while her memory of your comfort will grow for years.

I wish the best for everyone in and around your family.
