I get it for pro sports, but not college.



With the exception if your team is in the final four or championship

Lot of people with a lot of money that went to those 2 schools. Only so many seats in the arena.

Only in NC. By contrast, right now you can get tickets for both Michigan/Michigan St. games for around $150.

You would really pay more to watch an NBA game vs a NCAAB game? I can't watch a minute of NBA and refuse to go to a game. Not a better product IMO

When I was at MD we had student tickets that couldn't be resold to the public. You needed to show your student ID to get in. Sure it was pretty easy to sneak people in using someone else's ID but I doubt anyone would risk a couple grand to possibly get turned away. This is assuming the same rules are in place at Duke.

Why are people paying these ransom prices for a game where one team is favored over the other by 9' - 10 points?

I know it's a huge rivalry in Basketball Country but ....

Does anyone think the Powder Blue has a realistic chance?

NC has a shot. Duke isn't going to push them around, which bothers this team. In a finesse game, NC could play with them. I'm definitely taking a shot with the nine points. Should add I'm not a fan of either team, just a pure handicapping opinion.
