Socialism killed the country. US is trying to hold it together.....which I say, let them burn. This is what liberals want to turn America in to. It's a sad situation.....that country once was printing money.

you know...govt control and central planning of an economy where all the money is taken from the citizens for redistribution purposes, but never actually got redistributed...just pocketed by the policy makers who went all-in on oil, which was fine until the price of crude took a nosedive. Free market societies are rarely affected by commodity prices as they are diverse and complex and not owned by the govt....Venez oil was a govt-owned enterprise and predictably failed

so now China, Russia, and the USA will fight for power in the name of humanitarian aid but really just to seize the oil which make up 95% of Venezuela's exports.
