The supposed national emergency at the southern border also makes little sense in the post-9/11 era, when our
adversaries can infiltrate our society and our institutions through digital networks, when armed Americans kill
more Americans through acts of mass violence than does ISIS, and when the emergent ravages of climate change
threaten every community in the U.S.

Let us take a closer look at her claims.

Our adversaries can infiltrate our society and our institutions through digital networks. When was the last time
someone was killed by a digital network.

Armed Americans kill more Americans through acts of mass violence than does ISIS. Well since we are no longer engaged
in fighting ISIS on a full scale basis I would imagine that's true.

The emergent ravages of climate change threaten every community in the U.S. That is so patently ridiculous I won't
even comment.

However in 2005, then Governor of Arizona, Janet Napolitano, who then became DHS secretary for former President Barack Obama, declared an emergency because of what was happening on the border. Good then. Bad now.

On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Cuomo Primetime,” Representative Ted Lieu (D-CA) stated that if Special Counsel
Robert Mueller’s report exonerates President Trump, “we move on.” He added that there are other investigations by
Congress, states, and the Southern District of New York.

Lieu said, “Now, if the report comes out and exonerates Donald Trump, we move on. If it doesn’t, if it basically says,
hey, we would have indicted Donald Trump for these offenses, but for the fact that there’s a policy memo saying we can’t,
then I think Congress has to really look at these issues and decide what to do with whatever offenses the Robert Mueller
investigation reveals. Separate from that, the House Judiciary Committee and other committees in Congress will investigate
other aspects of potential wrongdoing, such as obstruction of justice, witness tampering, abuse of power.”

He later added, “Regardless of what Robert Mueller’s report shows, there are investigations by the Southern District of
New York. There are state attorney general investigations. So, this is going to keep on going to make sure that all of
the possible crimes that Donald Trump and his associates may have engaged in will be investigated.”

Representative David Cicilline (D-RI) pushed back Wednesday on “CNN Newsroom” on the idea that the Democratic Party
is lurching toward socialism in the wake of socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) entering the 2020 race for the
Democratic nomination.

Host Poppy Harlow asked Cicilline if he believes the Democratic Party is moving toward socialism, but the Rhode Island
senator said all of the announced candidates are “capitalists,” adding there are no socialists running for president
from the Democratic Party.

I think all of the announced Democratic candidates for president are capitalists,” Cicilline told Harlow. “We don’t have
socialist candidates running for president in the Democratic Party.”

He continued, “I don’t see any movement in the Democratic party towards socialism at all. I know the president is making
that argument. I think it’s a silly one. I think he thinks it’s politically advantageous, but there’s just no evidence to
support it.” Cicilline then noted Sanders is not a member of the Democratic Party.

House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff said Sunday that there is ample evidence Donald Trump’s
presidential campaign colluded with Russia.

“You can see evidence in plain sight on the issue of collusion, pretty compelling evidence,” Schiff
said, adding, “There is a difference between seeing evidence of collusion and being able to prove a
criminal conspiracy beyond a reasonable doubt.”

Schiff said special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on potential Russian government meddling in the
2016 election might not be the final word on the matter.

Sunday on CNN’s “Inside Politics,” Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) argued the
United States could afford the trillions of dollars the Green New Deal could cost taxpayers.

CNN’s John King asked, “If you talk to Democratic voters, they’re hungry, and they want ideas. So you’ll hear
things like the Green New Deal. You’ll hear things like Medicare for all. You hear things whether it’s taxed at
what point do you say that’s our north star, but we have to be realists?”

Harris said, “There’s no question we have to be practical. But being practical also recognizes that climate change
is an existential threat to us as human beings. Being practical recognizes that greenhouse gas emissions are
threatening our air and threatening the planet and that it is well within our capacity as human beings to change
our behaviors in a way that we can reduce its effects. That’s practical.”

King asked, “Can we afford it?”

Harris said, “Of course we can afford it,”

Maybe we can afford it but why would we?

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) warned the Democratic Party establishment Friday that supporters of the
socialist Green New Deal are now “in charge.”

“If you don’t like the #GreenNewDeal, then come up with your own ambitious, on-scale proposal to address the
global climate crisis,” Ocasio-Cortez said in a social media post.

“Until then, we’re in charge – and you’re just shouting from the cheap seats”

Ocasio-Cortez’s tweet came after Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) was confronted by a group of school children and
teenage activists who urged her to support the Green New Deal.

Video of the confrontation went viral on social media, and the activist group, Sunrise Movement, accused her of
treating them with “smugness” and “disrespect”

“You come in here, and you say it has to be my way or the highway. I don’t respond to that,” the California Democrat
told the group, also saying that others should “listen a little bit.”

The Democratic plan to brainwash children is coming back to bite them in the ass. ^^

In a wild interview with Boston Public Radio, freshman Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) lambasted President
Donald Trump and called for his immediate impeachment from office–while also ripping the president over
the crisis at the U.S. border with Mexico and attacking federal law enforcement agencies.

Back in September, Pressley said she would “do whatever we can” to impeach Trump and remove him from office,
the local public radio outlet noted, and now she feels the same way as she eagerly anticipates Special Counsel
Robert Mueller’s report. But, she added without knowing what’s in Mueller’s forthcoming report, Trump has
“lost all moral authority” to lead the United States of America.

“As I’ve said, impeachment has always been on the table and should be on the table,” Pressley said. “The occupant
of the White House … has lost all moral authority and the high ground, and certainly it appears there could be
evidence of obstruction of justice and other things, but I can’t substantiate until I see this report.”

And if you don't see the report or it doesn't fit your narrative, what then?

Sunday on AM 970’s “Cats Round Table,” House Judiciary Committee Chair Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) said
President Donald Trump was the “greatest threat” to American democracy since the civil war.

Nadler said he would hold hearings including into “abuse of power.”
“Clearly there have been major abuses of power, major obstruction of justice, obvious violations of the
emoluments clause of the Constitution. All of these have to be looked at.”

He added, “I view this president and his conduct as the greatest threat to the democratic system and to
the constitutional government since the Civil War, whether it’s threatening the newspapers or threatening
the judiciary or calling people who criticize him treasonous.”
