Dish Network[FONT=&quot] lost a record 381,000 satellite TV subs in the fourth quarter of 2018, as the carriage standoffs with AT&T’s [/FONT]HBO[FONT=&quot] and [/FONT]Univision[FONT=&quot] accelerated the pain the company has already been feeling from cord-cutting trends.

[/FONT][FONT=&quot]All told, Dish lost a net 1.125 million satellite TV customers in 2018, to stand at 9.905 million at the end of last year. It had 2.417 million Sling TV subscribers, a net gain of 205,000 for the year.

[/FONT][FONT=&quot]The major factors hurting Dish’s subscriber numbers: Univision programming remains dark on Dish and Sling TV, after it was pulled from on June 30, 2018, as do HBO and Cinemax, which have been unavailable on Dish satellite and Sling TV services since Oct. 31.

I have dish..i think.i pay like 68 a month..its barebones I dont have any on demand, DVR, hopper or anything. I think I have the second tier package..it does go out if its nasty weather. I dont have internet so any of this sling, roku, Hulu or whatever is out of reach

I'm one of those who left Dish last year.

Now I Have 6800+ channels and pay less than $20 a month. Can watch any sports game I want, it's like a sportsbook in my apartment.

one of my cousin's has dish network and i personally hate it... he doesn't get any of the local sports broadcasts, they get blacked out.. no flyers /sixers games. I've been telling him for years to watch breaking bad, i finally broke him down to agree to watch the 1st episode and he had no type of on demand for it, fuck that shit

Just raised my bill $8..its doubled in the 6 years I've had it and lost my locals. I complained to them and they told me they would give me a free hopper but it would be another 15 a month to use it. Ridiculous. Lowered my package and am close to giving up period and just getting a decent antenna.
