Alabama and Georgia finished one-two in recruiting this year. Here's a look at
positions recruited and what states the players came from.

Alabama signed players from eleven different states and the District of Columbia in
its 27 member class.
Position: QB (2)...RB (2)...WR (2)...OL (5)...DL (8)...LB (2)...DB (5)...ST (1)
States: Ala (5)...Fla (4)...Ga (3)...Md (3)...La (2)...Ms (2)...NJ (2)...Tx (2)
Ky (1)...Ill (1)...DC (1)

Georgia signed players from nine states in its 24 member class including one from
Rhode Island of all places.
Position: QB (2)...RB (1)...WR (4)...OL (3)...DL (7)...LB (3)...DB (3)...ST (1)
States: Ga (8)...FL (5)...Tn (3)...Al (2)...La (1)...Mi (1)...Mn (1)...Ms (1)...RI (1)

Alabama totaled 3 5-star and 23 4-star recruits. The Tide also had one 5-star who
transferred in. Georgia had five 5-star and 15 4-star recruits. Defensive line seem
to be the priority for both schools. Wonder why...……...

Yeah, Kirby stole a 5-star WR from Auburn at the last minute and took a 5-star OL from
the Tide. Saban took three top recruits out of Georgia.

The recruiting battles among the top SEC teams is something to watch.

Don't know if Pickens can qualify tho. Fingers crossed.

Bama signed Trey Sanders the nation's No. 1 ranked running back this year. I wouldn't be surprised
if he's in the rotation as a true freshman this season.

He HAS to be. Saban certainly sold the kid on playing time.

Sanders for Bama and Emery for LSU will get good playing times as Frosh. Both are outstanding talents. Kirby had them in his grasp but let them slip out.

Maybe he can use playing time for bringing in a couple 5* rbs in 2020.
