Michigan will have a senior quarterback in Shea Patterson. The Game will be played
in Ann Arbor. The opposing coach will be a rookie. QB Dwayne Haskins will be in the
NFL. If Harbaugh (0-4) can't beat Ohio State this year...he never will.

Sidenote: Harbaugh's record against rivals OSU, Michigan State and ND is 2-7 and
his bowl record is 1-3. Do you think Harbaugh is beginning to lose the Wolverine fan
base. Let him lose to the Bucks this year and he will be standing on the gallows with
all hell about to break loose.

if not now then when has to be the question. wisconsin and penn state are the only teams on the road which you could potentially lose and they both have new qbs to start the season. iowa, mich state, ohio state and nd all at home. the schedule supports the expectations for michigan this year.

I don't get all the hate for Harbaugh.
Yes he loses to his rival fuck everybody loses to Saban and Swinney too in conference play.
The team is MUCH better then it was with Richrod and Hoke.
If Michigan fans really want him out they can and probably will get something a lot worse.

Many good points Sol but............. Patience is a Virtue and there isn't a whole lot of (it) in the world now days, especially in college football.

Harbaugh s a heck of a coach. He is a bit emotional at times and definitely a bit quirky, always beating to his own drum. He will not be booted out of Michigan. If he goes it will be because he knows it is time for him to go. And then the NFL will be waiting with open arms. He has been successful at every coaching stop he has had.

Tough calls/plays are part of the game we all understand. With that said, the bad snap and Punter screwing up the 2015 Michigan St. game where Michigan led the entire game till the that play with 10 seconds to go was a fluke. And the 2016 Ohio State game went to double OT with a very questionable spot that went in OSU's fave in Columbus on a fourth down play.

My point is just looking at those two rivalry games alone, that I remember off the top of my head, Harbaugh could easily be 4-5 in rivalry games. I am not a Michigan grad, simply respect his coaching ability. Yes, he is heads and tails above Rich Rod and Brady Hoke. Not sure where the University would turn if they were to part terms. I suppose if Les Miles were to turn around Kansas he perhaps would come back in play.

It will be an interesting season in Ann Arbor. Growing up primarily in the Midwest I believe college football is better when Michigan is a power or at least a factor in the national rankings.

When the hell does football start? Not soon enough.

Cheers to All!

I agree. Michigan isn't looked at like some sort of powerhouse program.

So it begins......again, at the end of February no less. Rightfully so I guess.

I see you didn't mention Justin Fields transferring to Ohio State, playing for that Rookie coach,
slight oversite.
Not to mention Michigan's rookie OC Gattis.

And talk about underachieving, how about Ohio State??? Minnesota gave them a scare, Nebraska almost beat them, took overtime to squeak by Maryland, and lost to Purdue!! And they had probably the #1 QB in the NFL draft and Bosa for half the year. What the hell happened to them?? All those 5-stars on the field. More underachieving in Columbus than at Ann Arbor.

The fact is Michigan fans are grateful they are winning again, despite Ohio State loses. And this last year they should have won, mentally unprepared and a bad defensive scheme is what I saw. Michigan doesn't currently have the intensity for Ohio State as the Buc's have for Michigan. Goes back to the 80's and 90's when UM dominated. In Ann Arbor they don't cover up letters on buildings and other silly crap as they do in Columbus. Maybe they should start.
The bowl games are a disappointment, seems like they just go through the motions and Harbaugh spends December on the recruiting trail rather than preparing for the bowl game.

Shea Patterson; the kid has a lot to learn, wouldn't be surprised if he sees some time, at some point, standing on the sidelines. Let's see what Gattis does with him.

Interesting Trend; Indiana usually loses to the top Big 10 teams year to year, but they play a tough, physical game that can take a toll.

In the last six years the Buckeye's have played Indiana each year. The Buc's are 1-5 ATS playing Indiana, 0-6 ATS the next game. They lost to Oklahoma in 2017 after covering that one Indiana game.

The Wolverines have played Indiana the last six years and they are 2-3-1 ATS vs Indiana, twice going to OT. The Wolv's are 2-4 ATS the game after Indy, losing to Ohio State(but covered ats}, Penn State, and Michigan State.
Next year the Wolverines are at Indiana before the OSU game. But Ohio State gets Penn State the same week.

Nice post Mosi.

Parting shot; Too bad Michigan isn't playing Western Carolina Catamounts before Ohio State.

Yeah, I remember that day in 2007. Same day Nicky Saban won his first game as Bama coach. They beat...…..Western Carolina Catamounts!!!! How ironic.
Oh, wait a minute, that win doesn't count, something about being VACATED??? Folks up in Michigan football country are a bit unfamiliar to that term "vacated" and "forfeit". Guess folks in Alabama know what it means.

The TERM we Bama fans understand is "National Championships."

2009........2011........2012........2015........2017...…..ain't that something.

Anyone know when Michigan last won a Big Ten title...about 16 years ago.

Sidenote: During that time, Michigan State has won 3 Big Ten titles.

5 National Championships during 9 year span, really quite amazing when you consider having to back to 1876 to 1884 to top that, the Yale Bulldog's 6.

Losing Urban, with controversy, has hurt Buckeyes..look for issues, but recruiting has been better than expected, some 4-5 star players, and wolverines were supposed to turn the corner last year with win as favorite at the Shoe, but lost in Blowout.. still seems like Wolverines have a schedule which will allow them to go to Nat'l champ game, still gotta beat the Bucks, even at the Big House , not EZ...go Buckeyes..!!
