Have used Statfox for years for handicapping purposes.

Now my link is sending me to DRF. I'm panicking. Don't see the info formatted anything like I have become accustomed to.

Anybody know the story here?

It appears that Statfox is still existant. But the "game matchup" NBA dropdown takes me to DRF and a totally different format.

Is there anyway we can see the old format still? I hate this new crap, could careless amount simulators and previews.

I'd like to know their record vs teams with a winning record, is that info no longer available?

I've noticed tons of companies "upgrading" websites and stuff turning them into clusterfucks of information. Less is sometimes more. My bank now has pie charts, line graphs etc for every penny I spend and have. How bout just telling me my balance?

Statfox did sell out to the DRF, years ago!!

from msudogs:

for those that didn't know DRF bought Statfox years ago and this rollout has been in the making. They are building all the same features as before, it is taking longer than expected. Everything should be back to normal and running soon
GL

DRF. huh. They are a money printing monopoly. I have to buy two of their chart forms to go to the racetrack every Saturday. Those two "forms" cost me $19.00. Nuts. It's just printed statistical info on rag paper.

It's no wonder that they did that in a sloppy way. And years later, no less. They are rolling in sloppy money.

PS I now get much (not all) of the info I use between the "Fox Sheets" and the "Team report" on that site.

They forced me to revise my handicapping and I think it's going to pay off.

Sometimes bad things open my eyes to better things.

Thanks for your input, guys.

If you ever need a form let me know, I'll send you PPs to 5 tracks a day for $10 a week.

I go to the Power search tab on Stat fox and use the Power rating comparison ( i compare their lines to opening lines and first movement) on the very bottom and the game estimator....summaries of all the games by sport on one page.

I try to avoid their trends b/c I cant seem to win when backing them.

So we lose those stats forever? Like record vs winning teams and record as 10-12pt underdogs?

Anyone know if those will come back?

Statfox so far this year is hitting 51% of NBA picks and 49% of CBB offerings.

Par for course the past few years.

Thanks but as much as it hurts me to pay that price every week, I'm used to that format and access to about 10 tracks. I mark up my books unmercifully. My handicapping would suffer greatly with any change. I'm stuck paying the price. Cost of doing business.

My understanding (from a Statfox mod) is that the whole Statfox platform will be replicated under the DRF ownership.

I have my doubts as they screwed up the first step.

So Sports Information Group (SIG) i the parent company of the DRF & StatFox.
I miss the StatFox Game Matchups. They had some great unique stats. I liked the SU/ATS (home/road lined games) record for this year & 3 years for college hoops. I also like the PF/PA compared to opponents averages. Anyone know where else those stats can be found?
Since it's the same company I don't know why they changed the matchups.

I also miss looking at the "recent past performances" section between the two teams in the night's matchup.

well, well ,well

LargeMarge found it

http://classic.scoresandodds.com/index.html

Under where the two teams matching up are listed is a heading called "free matchup".

Click on that and it brings you to the old Statfox matchup page. Identical to what they screwed up on the Statfox home site. It even says "Statfox SportsFeed".

Problem solved. Amazing.
