Don’t think we’d ever seen Jordan intentionally throw the ball off his own backboard on an inbounds. He’s checked out. Yikes. Guess that’s what happens when you give the verbal okay to trade all your young guys away for AD. They stop playing for you.

That's probably the ESPN interpretation of why they are struggling I would imagine. Some overemphasized soap opera drama stuff, not actual basketball reasons.

But Lonzo hasn't played since that trade stuff due to injury, Ingram and Kuzma are playing for big money 2nd contracts and wouldn't "stop playing" because of some trade rumors. Ingram has actually been playing really well for him, his best ball since he has been in the NBA but still underachieving.

The Lakers suck because their best player is in his 15th season and isn't as good as he used to be, they did a poor job of building the team in FA after they signed him and their young guys haven't really made the leap. Not to mention they've had tons of injuries. LeBron has missed almost 1/3rd of the season. The West is no joke as well.

Their issue isn't some soap opera drama about guys having their feelings hurt, it is that they aren't very good.

When LeBron comes to your team you expect a lot from him. And he is going to expect a lot from his team. Right now he is expecting a lot from his team and coaches and he’s not doing his job. Whether or not you think it’s espn bullshit- was up for debate until he did this. This is a locker room issue. A behind the scenes issue.

When Lebron is pissed at his team he cries. He is the biggest drama queen there is. What the fuck are you talking about there’s no soap opera. This is the Lakers and LeBron. Of course there’s a soap opera. There’s drama behind the scenes. Not everybody is Shaq and Kobe, PoserPats.

This is just conjecture.

In his 15th season with 60,000 minutes on his body, he likely just isn't the best player in the NBA anymore and can't carry a team full of young guys.

He may be a drama queen but that isn't the Lakers biggest issue. Their biggest issue is they aren't that good.

Not my fault the NBA is covered like it is a soap opera and people think Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma are in their feelings and this is why the Lakers are losing.

Lebron doesn't have time for basketball. He is too busy painting over swastika on his house.

Huh?

I say in this thread in post #86 that I could see them missing the playoffs if their young guys don't step up. I said they did a bad job in free agency after signing LeBron.

I never said anything about 56 games, I think you are thinking of someon

“This year though, I'd probably have their win total at like 50ish right now” -PoserPats

Yeah, Vegas had it at 49. That's a median projection.

If you know LeBron is gonna miss 20, Ingram/Lonzo aren't going to make leaps and there are going to be no trades. Then that is going to be revised drastically lower. That's why I said if things go badly, they could miss the playoffs in the post.

Other than the fact you can't stand me and it has made you think of basketball as an emotional subject, I'm not sure what you are missing here?

I said no one thinks this is their full roster. You gave a prediction based on their full roster. And you were wrong. Period. Let it go man. That’s why I told you you shouldn’t enter this thread. But you can’t help it lmfao

A team with a win total in the high 40s certainly has some decent equity to miss the playoffs. Given the Lakers were a more volatile situation with it being a new team, the range of outcomes would vary more to most people.

If you can't intelligently discuss sports, why come to the site?

No one thinks this is their full roster? Free agency was basically over.

There was no one else to really sign at that point. I knew that would be their final roster besides fringe moves like Reggie Bollock.

I didn't give a prediction at all. I'm not sure you know what a prediction is.
