why is bitcoin crashing?

seems like every day a new low for Bitcoin. All the cryptos are crashing and causing untold losses for the idiots that invested in them

I got the bulk of my roll out and on the street in Dec 2017 so I'm doing pretty good but I'm sad for anyone sucked into investing in this garbage these days

There is nothing tangible behind it.
The governments of the world are actively trying to restrict it from gaining traction.
There are market manipulators who have most of the Bitcoin.
Lots of young people invested in it to begin with and they lost all their money (there was some stat on student loan investment into bitcoin that was scary).
The Shorters keep making money.
There was even more crypto competition.
There were lots of scams, destroying investor confidence.
Only a portion of the market (and a smaller portion of old money) that understands it.

I hope you didn't get killed too badly with it. I certainly know lots of people who did.
