[h=4]US could see 1 million illegal immigrants cross the southern border by the end of 2019[/h]

President Trump said in an interview released Monday that he does not want any immigrants to come to the United States who would be on welfare.
“I don’t want to have anyone coming in that’s on welfare,” Trump told Breitbart News.
“We owe a lot of money. We’re taking care of everybody in the world’s military. But now as you know I got over $100 billion from NATO countries," Trump said in the interview. "But that’s not enough, that’s not enough, we’re paying for massive portions of NATO." Read on......

I HATE it when somebody says "we are a country of immigrants, my grandparents were immigrants".

Completely different, now:

  • Back then, you had to fend for yourself, no freebies, there were no welfare or food stamps, no Section 8 housing, healthcare costs were almost non existent in the late 1800's early-mid 1900's (no medical technology, antibiotics came 50 years later, etc.)
  • America was the land of opportunity with massive growth for 100 years, railroads, steel, the automobile, the industrial revolution, massive farmland and ranch lands available to be claimed
  • immigrants then came from successful economic cultures in Europe that governed, farmed, invented, developed, educated, built, had a civilized/organized military, Judeo-Christian religious, values, etc.

Completely different.

Border Patrol agents discovered 76 undocumented immigrants inside a sealed refrigerated trailer

U.S. Border Patrol agents manning the I-35 checkpoint said late Thursday that they had rescued 76 undocumented immigrants who were being concealed inside a sealed refrigerated trailer.

The inspection led to the discovery of the migrants. They were found in good health and did not need medical attention, Border Patrol said. They were determined to be from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, a U.S. citizen, and the undocumented immigrants were arrested. Homeland Security Investigations assisted in the smuggling investigation.

The tractor-trailer was seized by Border Patrol.

in case you don't think immigrants are welfare recipients...think again

New research has discovered that foreign noncitizens use nearly two times the amount of welfare as native-born Americans. Both legal and illegal aliens fall into the category of foreigners who take from the welfare system.

in recently released research by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), analysts discovered that about 63 percent of noncitizen households, those who live legally and illegally in the U.S., use some form of public welfare while only about 35 percent of native-born American households are on welfare.

California and Texas have the most expansive welfare-dependent immigration. For example, more than 7-in-10 noncitizen households in California use at least one form of welfare compared to just 35 percent of native-born American households that use welfare in the state.
In Texas, nearly 70 percent of noncitizen households use welfare. Similar to California, only 35 percent of native-born American households are on welfare.

That's a shitload of people on the dole.

What percentage of those living here are on the dole?

This is why common sense has a hard time winning elections.

I gave to admit, saying he doesn't want immigrants looking to live on welfare can be argued is a racist statement

But why is that?
