I tell you these Liberals are disgusting! I hope and pray people wise up,yeah,it's really the governments business to tell people what to eat, this is a total TRAVESTY........... <cite class="el-editorial-source" style="font-size: 1.2rem; background-color: rgb(254, 254, 254); color: rgb(38, 38, 38); box-sizing: border-box; font-family: CNN, "Helvetica Neue", Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-style: normal; font-weight: 700;">(CNN)</cite>Students often joke about the "mystery meat" in their school lunches. Well for kids in New York City, there won't be any mystery at all, at least on Mondays. That's because all public schools in New York will have "Meatless Mondays" in the 2019-2020 school year. New York Mayor Bill de Blasio introduced the new meal program Monday. Meatless Mondays, which will provide students with all-vegetarian breakfast and lunch offerings, is being expanded citywide from a pilot program that was tried out last spring in 15 schools.
"Cutting back on meat a little will improve New Yorkers' health and reduce greenhouse gas emissions," de Blasio said at a news conference. "We're expanding Meatless Mondays to all public schools to keep our lunch and planet green for generations to come."

Meat is incredibly overrated..you can get food just as good more pennies on the dollar compared to meat. We have been trained to eat meat. Meatless is cheaper, healthier, less waste, better shelf life...

So, because you may be vegetarian you are certainly liberal. Is that what you're saying? If so does that make conservatives meatheads?

The author equates the two words. I find this silly.

Havent schools done this for decades. They create the lunch menus and send them out weeks in advance. My grade school was always pizza fridays, so I guess thats meatless.

I don't understand why a state government feels the need to dictate the menu of the lunches at its schools?

Is Shub on the school board or does he work for DeBlasio?

New York will lead the charge for cross dressing Friday.

Closer than you think and if you oppose it, you are gender phobic and identify as a sexist

Schools that have meat everyday must be rich. Growing up we rarely had meat for school lunch and when we did no one wanted to eat it.
