Went tonight for a panel of "experts" including Hank Goldberg...gald to see him still pickin' and still kickin'. A few of their observations.
1) The MW tournament was in LV last week. Nevada apparently has quite a bit of dissention within the team with players tossing F-bombs at each other and the coach. Also pointed out that in their first tournament game, which they almost lost to Boise, they only had five assists. Panel member very strong on Florida.
2) Midwestern guy "talked to many sources in East Lansing," pointing out that the Spartans are spent after the Big Ten tournament and the mood around the team was just like it was two years ago when they lost to Middle Tenn State in the first round.
3) Syracuse was the strongest first round play. Also like Northeastern over.
4) Hank thought Seton Hall was a very strong play over Wofford (his best bet was SYR)
5) Murray State, Northeastern and Utah State were money line plays although I think Utah State is the fav now.
6) Consensus dislike for Oklahoma, Iona (take UNC and the over) and Kansas State due to injury.
