Based on a Formula that has picked the Championship Winner the last 17 of 18 years.
I have the Formula written down, but it's not with me at the moment. Here is what I remember of the formula...I'll post the exact conditions when I get home.

The team must be a Division 1 Team.
The team must have won each gane by a season average of 7 points or more.
The team must have scored at least 74%PPG average all season.
The team must have a defense that allowed no more than 74%PPG
The teams must be a 1,2, or a 3 seed.
The Coach must have been to the final 8 a t least once in his career and not necessarily with the same school
There are about 4-5 more criteria for the formula which I will post when I get a chance.
In the last 18 years this formula has produced the winner 17 times and the only time it didn't is 5 years ago when North Carolina won as an upset all the way to the Championship.
The formula usually has anywhere from 6-7 teams each year that qualify with only 5 this season.
Last year the formula produced 2 of the teams in the final game for the Championship.
This year the 5 Teams are....

Duke
North Carolina
Tennessee
Michigan State
Kentucky

Duke has always been my go to. But this year I'm going with MIchigan because my son chose them and that's going to be the team the whole household cheers on.

On the side though I'll put a few bones on Michigan St. Ha Ha! Thanks for the info Bourn. Good stuff!

I didn't post it so it doesnt count but I went 3-0 today. Had Belmont +3 in which that could have easily lost.

Florida and Wofford hit too.

Love teams like Wofford. Playing basketball the way it should be played. Remind me of that Cornell team in 2011 who lost to UK in sweet 16.

I'll take the field there....Gonzaga Buffalo Tx Tech Michigan Florida st Villanova Houston

Love how everyone is saying this is a 'chalk year'. This is anything but a chalk year. Buffalo is as good as any team in the field.

Gonzaga fits the criteria you list so I’m curious what the remaining 4-5 criteria are and what keeps them off the list.

They are a 6 seed. Should be in sweet 16 with just a very minor upset of an overated Texas Tech team ( +3)

So far this is a complete chalk year. Not a major upset the first 2 days

So it looks like Michigan St for the win based on the trending formula.

Yep. I remembered 1 more condition.....
The Team must have appeared in Tourney the prior year or have an all-American this year.

Michigan St is worth laying some dough on for sure.

This is a great scenario actually as Michigan St is only team left and you don't have 2 or 3 still in if you believe in the formula which has won last 17 of 18.

Got Michigan St at the beginning for 12-1. Put some more in them at +160 this week.

Amazing trend end if this comes in!

Michigan State should win it.

in the final 4 these games will come down to 1-3 possessions and situationally Izzo is head and shoulders above the other 3

Some commentator said that Izzo plays chess while the rest play checkers.

I like Izzo, he's a great coach, but let's keep this in perspective. He has one title in his career, he's no Jim Calhoun :)

Anyhow, the other 3 coaches are pretty darn good, and TX Tech has the best player in the field.

Nailed it. No winner for this system this year. It's been a tournament for the ages.
