4 figures for any decent seat here in Louisville. I wouldn't pay three figures to see Virginia and Oregon play

Eh this is pretty bogus. Purdue/Tennessee also play and both fan bases are close to Louisville. Section 114 is solid and currently $500 on stubhub. That's not bad for 3 games.

Kanasas City market tanked since Jayhawks are not there. I bought two for all three games last year at about $1050 including fees...those are now around $950.

Wait on the Louisville games. I have a friend who I trust a ton who travels to all the big sporting events. Actually lemme back up. I'm going to the Sweet 16/ Elite 8 games in DC. Tickets are around $1200-4k/ for lowers. I was asking him for help. He literally advised me to fly to louisville and just watch games there. He thinks lowers will be $150 ish /game around game time, and and less than $100 for elite 8.

He told me don't hold my breathe on DC. Duke and Zion are driving up prices everywhere, VA Tech playing their back yard and MSU. It's a shitty situation for 4 guys just looking to enjoy the games.

$150 MAY get you in the door in Louisville but thats it. When two of the four teams are a four hour drive, its a hot ticket. I'm sure there are a lot of Purdue alum in Indy, roughly 100 miles from Louisville.

Purdue vs Tennessee is what is making the value high

Purdue never gets to the final 4 and this is the easiest route they have ever had.

Yes there are. If Indiana was playing I would pay 4 figures for good seats. But cant justify it when it's not my team

A lot of Purdue alum in Chicago will make that drive down, cost is no factor. The elite 8 game involving the Purdue-Tenn winner will easily have 3/4th of the tickets.

I would if it was Indiana without question.

And have payed that much for floor seats at the Pacers several times in marquee matchups like when they played the Lakers with kobe/nash/Howard

You can get front row dugout MLB tickets for 200 bucks

That's not really the point

When I travel or go to events I splurge for the best most of the time.

But I also live in a relatively modest house for my income.

I know plenty of folks who live in beautiful homes but there only vacation for the year is driving down to Florida for a few days. And they wouldn't dream of spending even a couple hundred dollars to see a game because they are worried about the mortgage and Mercedes payment.

To each their own. Different priorities for different people.

$200 for any seat in any baseball game to sit for 3.5hrs to see 20mns of action sounds like a true sign of mental illness.

A few beers, food, sun, and baseball with friends or family doesnt sound like a mental illness to me. Especially when you have restaurants or bars you frequent before or after the game
